ME TELEVISION RECEIVES FIVE PRESTIGIOUS TELLY AWARDS
TEXAS MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT NETWORK AWARDED ONE SILVER AND FOUR BRONZE TELLYS
Austin, TX (June 10, 2007) – ME Television, the 24-hour regional music and entertainment network, announced today that they have been awarded five prestigious Telly Awards. ME Television received three awards including the highest honor a Silver Telly in the documentary category and two in the live event category for live music performances.
ME Live!, the network’s nightly hallmark series featuring live music performances by local and touring artists, claimed two Tellys for episodes featuring Paula & Willie Nelson at the Saxon Pub and Collective Soul at the Glenn at the Backyard.
Texas Legends, a one-hour documentary series devoted to legendary musicians, historical venues and all things that are the stuff of “Texas Legends” received a Telly for its highly touted show on the Paramount Theater.
Austinville the series that spotlights the notable places and personalities in Austin took home two awards. The Bboy City episode garnered a Silver Telly and the Slam Poetry installment claimed a Bronze Telly.
